Does anybody suffer the frustration of having to pay for Wgtn Airport passenger pick ups?

The Airport Co. is now enforcing no stopping at the drive thru terminal for passenger pickup. Instead they expect you to park and PAY for even the quickest pickup. There is no grace period for this eg. 10 minutes free and the minimum charge seesm to be about $3

I see that the original planners obviously expected people to want to pickup passengers outside the arrivals downstairs, but instead this area and is either marked with yellow dotted lines or devoted to taxi parking

Yes it is ridiculous ... and even more so by the fact you have to drive thru the airport as "normal" traffic therefore adding to congestion ... now where's the security in that ....
